Fanny’s Favourite, Super Simple, Super Nutritious Smoothies – Pineapple and Turmeric

It’s been a while since I’ve posted a new smoothie recipe and I’d actually forgotten about this one – which was one of my summertime favourites – until recently when I picked up a well priced pineapple and was reminded of the great, immune boosting benefits of adding Turmeric.  As always, my smoothies contain a good blend of protein, fats and carbohydrates which can be a great start to the day – particularly pre or post workout.  At other times, perhaps leave out the banana as you won’t need the extra sugars.

Instructions
  1. Simply blend all of the ingredients together, adjusting the amount of ingredients to your liking.
  2. Seal whatever you don't drink straight away in an airtight container and consume within 24 hours for optimal freshness and nutrients.
