This is a really simple, tasty turkey recipe for those days when you need to quickly throw something together. Goes down great with all the whole family.
Italian Turkey Steaks with Peppers
Brown the turkey steaks in a large frying pan and set aside.
Soften the onion and peppers in the pan with a little oil, butter or ghee then add the garlic for a couple of minutes.
Add the tomatoes or passata, white wine and marjoram to the pan with the turkey breasts.
Bring to the boil, cover and simmer stirring occasionally for about 30 minutes, until the turkey is cooked and tender.
Stir in the cannellini beans and simmer for a further 5 minutes.
If using, sprinkle on the breadcrumbs and place under a grill for a couple of minutes until golden.
