  1. Place the coconut oil in a jug with the water and brown rice syrup.
  2. Sauté the kale in a pan over a medium heat with 1 tsp of coconut oil for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Transfer this to a mixing bowl, add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  4. Pour the contents of the jug into the bowl and mix to form a thick dough.
  5. Grease a 1kg loaf tin with melted coconut oil, pack the dough into it and set aside for 1-2 hours.
  6. Preheat the oven to 170oC and bake for 50 minutes.
  7. Remove from the tin and return it to the oven for a further 15-20 minutes until golden brown all over.
  8. Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
